PADI Assistant Instructor
Diving professionals have more fun! Assistant Instructors work in partnership with PADI Instructors to teach diving knowledge and skill development and may conduct several PADI programs independently. With further training they may also teach non-diving specialty courses, as well as the Emergency First Response program.

Prerequisites

To enroll in a PADI Assistant Instructor course, an individual must:
- Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or hold an equivelent rating with another diver training organization
- Be at least eighteen years old
- Submit a Medical Statement for a diving medical examination conducted within the past twelve months. A licensed physician must sign the form and state that the candidate is fit for diving. The physician signing the medical clearance cannot be the applicant.
- Submit proof of CPR and first aid training within the last twenty-four months
