Advanced Open Water
Feeling like you need to hone in on some more scuba skills, or like you need a confidence booster? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is a great way to build your skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of one of our PADI Instructors. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
The Excitement
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences – that’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is all about. You’ll have the opportunity to explore new underwater environments at deeper depths, enjoy the excitement of identifying the surrounding marine life, and capture it all camera! At the end of the course you’ll be on your way to diving the seas with more certainty than ever before.
The Experience
Hone in on your scuba skills and boost your confidence with this short, exciting and fun course! Learn about 16 specialty dives, including wreck diving, underwater photography, night diving, search and recovery, and peak performance buoyancy. During your open water dives you’ll complete a Deep Dive, an Underwater Navigation, and your choice of 3 specialty dives!
The Advanced Open Water program consists of three phases:
ü Knowledge Development at home and in the classroom
ü Review in our indoor, heated pool
ü Open Water dives to review your skills and explore more!
Schedule
Our most popular class & pool sessions are held on a weekday evening; the certification dives take place on a weekend towards the end of each month. However, we always do our best to work within our students’ schedule. As we offer a variety of options please call us (970) 484-7049 for tuition and fees.

JUNIOR ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
If your children are between the ages of 10-14 and are already certified Open Water Divers we would love to see them take the next step to becoming an Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver. To find out more about Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification a parent or guardian must contact us at (970) 484-7049 to be briefed on the requirements for these young adventurers.
