Can my whole family do a Discover Scuba Diving together?

Yes, age limits permitting!

Can kids participate in the Discover Snorkeling class?

Yes, there is no age limit, but the child must be able to swim. Classes for Kids

How old does my child have to be to participate in scuba?

To use scuba equipment in classes a child must be at least eight years old for Bubblemakers and ten for Discover Scuba Diving, Discover Snorkeling, or Junior Open Water Diver. Classes for Kids

How old do children need to be to receive certification?

10 years old. Junior Open Water Diver

What type of certification can kids receive?

Kids ages 10-14 can become Junior Open Water Divers.

If I don't want to get in the water, how can I be involved with my child's class?

Parents are encouraged to be involved with every aspect of their child's training. We have poolside chairs for non-diving family to sit on as they encourage the child on the adventure.
