Bill Daniels

Bill was introduced to SCUBA Diving by a brother-In-law when he was in college. They dived some of the lakes in Texas during that time, but it was just an introduction. About 10 years ago, Bill decided to take Scuba Diving to get certified at LCCC, a community college in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He took his Open Water Class from an ex-Navy diver who was teaching there.

After finishing his Open Water Class and getting certified at the Homestead Crater, Bill took a trip to Roatan, Honduras where he spent a week diving three times a day and earning his Advanced Scuba Diver and Enriched Oxygen certifications. When Bill got home he decided to take the next step and go for his Rescue Diver certification which he completed at Chatfield Reservoir.

Bill said he "liked working with Apine Scuba because I enjoyed their professionalism and courtesy” and decided to pursue his professional scuba path with Alpine Scuba by signing up to take our Divemaster program; and we’re very glad he did! While working on the Divemaster program, he made dives in Horsetooth Reservoir, the Blue Hole and Perch Lake in New Mexico, and many dives at the Homestead Crater in Utah. While working on this program, which took a year, Bill also finished his certification as a Master Diver (the highest non-professional PADI diver certification). After teaching numerous Scuba Updates and Discover Scuba's Bill decided to "take the big plunge" and earn his PADI Instructor rating in March of 2011.  This new level of certification allows Bill to teach most of the PADI Open Water and Specialty classes up to Divemaster and as such opens many new opportunities for him.

Bill is approaching 100 dives in his logbook and has had the pleasure to visit such diving locations as Aruba, St Thomas, Grenada, Martinique and Puerto Rico. He loves diving and enjoys the safety that careful preparation and training afford to his recreational pursuit. Bill would be glad to share his enthusiasm with you!
